These brothers are Marans- mom is a Wheaten Marans & dad, Blaze, is a Black Copper  Marans
Brutus (Mille Fleur Serama) and Lyla (Icelandic) have an affinity for our Burning Bush shrubs on the property line.
My peeps are never far from my thoughts, even on vacation.
Rachel (Bantam Cochin Frizzle) looking very Cochin-ish in this photo. She usually looks more…Sea Urchin-shaped.
I have a coop full of broodies as the temperatures are at their highest this summer. This Buff Orpington did not appreciate the paparazzi.
For the first time ever, I set up a live-stream from the backyard to share my view with you. If you missed it live, you can still catch the live recording, here.
Blaze (Black Copper Marans rooster) is doing much better since his hospitalization. He is back in the flock,
his crow has returned in full force & he’s working on putting weight back on and opening his left eye all the way. ♥
Ariel (Black Copper Marans hen)
My little one, helping collect eggs. The green eggs are from my Olive Eggers & the brown is from my Black Copper Marans hen.
Irene (Welsummer)
My coop flower box is filling in nicely.
Penny is an Olive Egger.
Ally McBeak (Tolbunt Polish Frizzle)
Calista Flockheart (Tolbunt Polish Frizzle)

Feeders are always handy to keep around. Im increasing my flock, by accident, but I was wondering how long you keep extra roos around before it starts causing a problem? I think three of my little ones might be male.

This is new! It looks like just the thing I need to make my little ladies happy. Thanks for the contest!

Saw this feeder in a catalog when ordering my fencing and have kicked myself ever since for not ordering it! I would love to have it and not start each morning picking up my knocked over feeder. My girls won't touch their food once its on the coop floor, the divas!

This would be awesome for my new chicken coop! I am a new chicken mom with 6 babies that are 16 weeks old. I never knew I could LOVE a chicken!

I like this feeder. Never saw this design before, and love how it's got different options for use. One of those that can go from the brooder to the coop. :D
