Black Copper Marans cockerel via The Chicken Chick®
Peak leaf-peeping season came and went this week here in Connecticut and I hit the road in my Chicken Chickmobile whenever possible to take it all in.
Please enjoy a few photos from my corner of the world this week!

I think I can see the weekend from here!

Coffee: If you're not shaking, you need another cup.
Shhh! Let's just enjoy the sound of coffee brewing.
There goes the neighborhood.
Does it look like I've had my coffee? Then why are you still talking?
COFFEE: Because prison stripes make me look wide.
They said I could be anything...so I became a weathervane.
Coffee is a magical nectar that turns "Go away or suffer the consequences" into "Good morning, have a great day!"
Some days you make the coffee, some days the coffee makes you.
Thanks for visiting and have a great week!

We just got six hens several months ago and I’ve spent hours reading through your posts! So much helpful information! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your wealth of knowledge! Our hens are doing wonderfully and I think they’re going to start laying eggs in a month or so (they’re starting to make a lot of noise and fuss). 🙂
