A yawn is a silent scream for coffee.
Awesome has a flavor and its name is coffee.
Dear Santa...

I brewed my coffee with Red Bull instead of water. Right now, I can see noises.

  38. I added a two week old goat to our farm this week. One of the guys on my crew found her abandoned about a week and a half ago. We looked everywhere and checked at all the houses within a mile of where we found her. One of my guys took her home to get her started on the bottle and then I gave her to my wife for her birthday on Wednesday. I had done a lot of shopping for her birthday but they will just have to be Christmas presents now. She fell in love with the first look, the best birthday present ever.
We took her out to the Chicken yard today, it will eventually be her home too. Maggie had a great time running and jumping and exploring the new space.

I love you blog. I would LOVE to win a free bag of feed for the chicks I will be getting in February. It will be my first flock :). Small due to city restrictions, but more than it would have been if I hadn't be able to make the changes to the Backyard Chicken code. It used to be 4 hens with neighbor approval, I was able to get the neighbor approval requirement removed and got the number of hens increased to 6!!!!

Merry Christmas! I love reading the updates and plan on trying the roast recipe. I also have four girls and one has just started laying. She is laying in the roost area not in the nest boxes. Is there a way to train her to lay in the nest box instead? I had some material in the box and they pulled it out and laid the egg there the first time. Now I am just finding them in the roost.
