I'd love this - currently I go thru 100 lbs of layer pellets in 3-4 weeks - I have only 4 hens!! I have decided they are getting help from uninvited guests!!

We have/had a real problem with small rats in/under/around the chicken house... some became quite tame. But, a few weeks ago they all seemed to disappear... don't see them, hear them, or smell them any more = a good thing. But I'm sure there are still some there. A feeder like this would go a long way in keeping them 'gone'

I have 2 girls - Buffy, a Buff Orpington, and Fluffy, an Americana with fluffy ears. They never could figure out how to use the waterer with the nipple... curious if they can figure out how to open a Grandpa's Feeder.
