Flock Focus Friday, 10/31/14

Blaze & Rachel, The Royal Couple
I can't recall a time when autumn colors remained on the trees as long as they have this year. I took full advantage of the opportunity to get out there and take some photos. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites this week. Happy Halloween!

Just pour the coffee & back away slowly.
Waking up early doesn't make me a morning person, it makes me a COFFEE person.
Of COURSE it's Monday, this ain't my Friday face.
There's too much blood in my caffeine system.
The fact that my eyes are open is not evidence that I am awake. Need. More. Coffee.
Some days coffee is my liquid patience.
Thanks for visiting and have a great week!

Do you have a favorite chicken? I am wondering if I am doing something wrong, because I have one that I am super attached too and as a parent that just doesn't seem right!
    Love the fall pictures :)

    ReplyDelete
  157. Kathy,
I was looking to see if you have any resources about keeping a chicken in the house? I have a 6 week old that can "scoot" but cannot move her legs effectively. It was not spraddle leg, she was born fine, but then over the course of the last few weeks her legs turned outward and behind her...so sad...I can't keep her with the other girls now because they push her away from the food and water...are there any resources that could help us? Everything I have read about the condition, says there is not a cure, so I am left deciding on a house bird or no bird... :(

I went to purchase this at my local feed store (listed as a vendor) and they never heard of it. If I win, I will bring him the bag as promised so he can add it to his stock.
