  11. Kathy,
I've got to hand it to you--consistency is such an important port of blogging. I'm watching the 2nd annual G+ Bloggers conference, hosted by Chef Dennis Littley, and Rebekah Radice is talking about creating engaging posts--and one of the key elements is consistency!
I've got 3 recipes for you today, as usual using seasonal veggies from our CSA farm share. I've got a chilled pea soup, an Asian beet greens side dish, and a pizza using kohlrabi greens.
    Thanks for hosting!

  82. Trudy Parcher6/29/14, 5:56 PM

My husband put together a homemade incubator for me this spring. We tried like the dickins to maintain the correct temperature and humidity but sadly, we lost the six eggs we had tried to hatch due to fluctuations in both. As much as I appreciate his efforts and thoughtfulness, I would so love to have a Brinsea incubator. The one offered on the giveaway is the perfect size for us as we have a flock of only 8 hens - five layers and 3 retired. Our rooster, Churchill, is doing his job so we know we have fertile eggs. It would be so fun and rewarding to share the incubation experience with our grand kids. Thanks for the opportunity!
