  14. We just got our first chickens about 2 weeks ago. This feeder would be a perfect addition to our little coop. My mason jar feeders are emptying a little too fast and my ladies knock it over a little too easily. ~JD

  15. I love the summer recipes. Ripe now: plums, apricots, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, jalapenos, bell peppers, cucumbers, and chard. Soon to be ripe: san marzano tomatoes, better boy tomatoes, genovese heirloom tomato, figs, peaches. Later in the season: we have small watermelon and cantaloupe in the vines, and grapes. In the fall Pink Lady apples and elephant heart plums. The chickens share in the bounty! We sure could use one of those Grandpa's treadle feeders

Oh this would be perfect! I have been using a make-do rabbit feeder. This would save on feed! As much as I love my critters, I prefer to feed my lovely hens :)
