Basket is cool. I would like to know how to get my chickens more people friendly. They run from all of us now. With grand kids out here, I would really like them to be able to pet and handle the girls.

  27. Kathy,
I poured out a wealth of knowledge, learned from my Dad, about amending soil to grow healthy plants in this week's post. But wait! I didn't stop there!
I then shared a year in the life of a garden bed, where I grow and put by a crop of garlic and a year's worth of pesto (thanks to happy soil thanks to my dad's teachings).
Finally, I took that garlic, and that pesto, and some buttermilk, and I've shared a recipe for Roasted Garlic and Pesto Buttermilk Pizza Dough.
    Boom--all in one post!
I'd love to say I was done, but that'd be a lie.
I've got a recipe for Kalua Pig, Kohlrabi, and Carrot Summer Rolls with Pineapple.
Finally, a Fast from the Farm Share Concept Recipe for Greens and Pasta. The quickest, tastiest way I know to feed the family spring greens and have them leaving the table smiling.

    Thanks for hosting!

Thanks for a great giveaway opportunity. I am forever carrying eggs in my pockets and losing or cracking one or two. A basket would be a great aid. Thanks!
