    ReplyDelete
  76. Kathy,
Your giveaways make me wish I could have chickens within city limits! Of course chickens would probably want to eat my garlic scapes, and I am not very good at sharing [did ya see what I did there? transition and all? woot.]
I've got garlic scapes on my mind, and I'm sharing 3 recipes showing the versatility of this veggie. Using mild garlic scape pesto for the garlic in classic hummus results in a yummy dip. Mixing garlic scape pesto with shrimp makes a mild shrimp scampi. And adding cheese and garlic scape pesto makes a delicious cheesy flatbread--garlic bread with cheese to the max. Yum!
    Thanks for hosting!

It is so kind of you to take your time to run this blog. We all enjoy your posts and advice. We would love to win hen treats or starter feed. We have two hens and a baby chick on the way. If the babcat pee doesn't have an odor that would be great as we had to re-home our rooster. Sorry about Sparticus by the way. :`(
