    Kathy,
I've started a hashtagcarrotweek on the blog, sharing recipes using the super sweet carrots from our CSA farm share. First off I've got Rustic Roasted Carrots--a simple preparation that lets the flavor of carrot shine through! Next I went a little wild, and used my shredded farm share carrots in Unagi and Avocado with Carrot Rice Sushi. That was delish!
Finally, unrelated to hashtagcarrotweek, I've got an April Fool's recipe for you: Savory Squash Pie. This looks sweet, but is a rich dish made of buttercup and acorn squashes and Manchego cheese. Yum!
    Thanks for hosting!

I am so excited to have found you!!!! Living less than an hour away from you. there are so many thing I can learn and copy :) Getting my first little B.Y. Flock here in the U.S. made me nervous, because of the temperamental east coast weather. Can't be compared to the mild German seasons! I feel a lot more relaxed now! In the middle of coop construction, this is the place I check when I have to make decisions. Thank you so much <3

I'm setting up a new coop and really want to do this type of watering, although my husband is a fan of the bucket. (He will listen to my decision, or he won't get dessert for a week!)

I've seen this on your blog and I love it, even winterized. It would be perfect for the six hens that I am planning on keeping after my kids project hens are gone, for my little coop project.
