Clever Chicks Blog Hop #20 and Lollipop Flowers

I needed a fun Valentine's Day treat for the boys in my daughter's kindergarten class
since I had made the girls these Flower Hair Clip Valentine's Day cards.
These Tootsie Pop treats are super quick to assemble.  I have made different versions of them, one uses card stock and the other, foam sheets.
For the foam sheet version, simply cut out three hearts for each lollipop, use a paper puncher to make a hole at the bottom of each heart and slide the heart up the lollipop stick. Attach a leaf if desired, using the same technique.

I found this version of the lollipop flowers at Skip to My Lou a few years ago. This is Cindy's template for the flowers and template for the leaves. Simply cut out flower on card stock and poke lollipop stick through it! I put some floral foam in a basket and stuck the lollipops in it for a cute display. Cindy has lots of other fun, Valentines' Day crafts on her blog, Skip to my Lou!

  11. Thank you for allowing me to link to your Web Hop! Is there a way that you can correct my thumb nail ? Where it asked for a name I thought it meant my name... Elle Mental. I now see that it meant the title of my blog entry... sorry, I am kind of a techno idiot :) My thumb nail is #58 and the title to the blog entry is Banishing the Winter Blues. I apologize for messing things up... I actually think I did the same thing last week.  Thanks again! Elle

  173. Great Blog! I love following "Rachel"! I would love to have that egg scale! We have 15 regular ol' domestic chickens pumping out 15 eggs a day and sometimes 16. I've been giving away eggs to the meter reader, the postman....you come near my door, you walk away with eggs! There's only two of us and no way to eat so many eggs. I try baking with them, and being diabetic, I STILL can't eat enough to get rid of eggs.

  174. I really love that scale! I have 15 regular ol' domestic chickens who lay 15 to 16 eggs a day and I have soooo many eggs that I'm giving away eggs to the meter reader, to the postman, to anyone who shows up at my house! There are only two of us and there is NO way we can eat THAT many eggs. LOVE your blog! This is a picture of one of my hens "Queenie" who was just treated for Bumblefoot.
