In Celebration of Spring and Spring Chickens

Buff Orpington.
I am enjoying my new spring chickens immensely. We had a chance to get outside this week and they got to feel the grass between their four day old toes and sunshine on their fluffy backs. Their photo shoot was a lot of fun for me, but their favorite game was running away from the camera. I hope you enjoy these photos.

  4. Molly & Frankie! Too funny I have 3 Speckled Sussex hens (hatched last year), that are named Pippa, Poppy, & Penny! They're my British girls! Love that yours is named Pippa too!

  6. Since these 2 Buffs are to help fill the hole in your heart left from the absence of April, I would like to suggest May & June. This would give them all a connection. There, I completed my mission for the day... I think

    1. Can you email me so I can discuss this with you in a more direct and quicker way? service@CustomEggCartonLabels.com

Are her legs off to the side? See my index for 'spraddle leg' to see if that's what you're describing. If she's very vocal, she may be cold or in pain. Was she like this when you got her? Where did she come from? Please include all of this info in your email.
      Thanks!
